Boonerang Weekend Was a Hit – Thank You, Boone!
We’re incredibly grateful for the energy and support this past weekend during Boonerang! From live music and art to local food and community connection, the festival was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Looking Ahead on Howard Street
Construction work will resume on Monday as crews begin preparing for water taps to the newly installed water line. There are five taps in total, with the final connection serving multiple businesses. Work will begin on the Depot Street end of Howard Street and move toward Burrell Street.
Progress Highlights from Last Week
• The new water line has passed all pressure and bacteria testing
• Crews completed all site preparations to accommodate Boonerang
What to Expect During Water Line Taps
During the tap process, minor disruptions may occur as individual service connections are made. Each affected property will need to flush their lines once connected. Town staff will provide advance notice with details and instructions to help ensure a smooth transition.
