Downtown Boone is a year-round destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, offering something for everyone. In addition to our wide variety of local shops and restaurants, visitors can enjoy unique experiences like arcades, spas, and an escape room. Throughout the year, our lively event calendar draws people downtown, starting with Earth First Friday in April, followed by Boonerang in June, our 4th of July celebrations, Busker’s Fest, and Boonetober Fest in the fall. Families love Boone BOO! for Halloween, and our Festive First Friday kicks off the holiday season with local flair, making downtown Boone a vibrant hub for fun and community all year long.
First Friday Art Crawl
Every First Friday, the Downtown Boone Development Association hosts “First Friday Art Crawls”. These events are the perfect way to justify coming down to Downtown Boone and enjoy good food, good art, and most importantly, good people! While some of our “First Friday Art Crawls” do not have themes, many do. Make sure to check out our themed “First Fridays” and come have a good time.
