As we begin the week, here’s a look at what’s ahead:
• Duct Bank Work: Crews will be resuming work in front of COBO and continuing toward Burrell Street. As previously noted, duct bank installation tends to progress at a slower pace, so expect steady but gradual movement throughout the week.
• Culvert Work: Concrete placement for the headwall remains on schedule. While delays have been common in the past, we are hopeful that this work will be completed by the end of July.
• Meter Vault Replacement: This week, the temporary meter vault between 151 Howard (Lumina Spa) and 179 Howard (The Local) will be replaced with a permanent structure. This will involve a half-day water service interruption for businesses in that section.
Progress Recap from Last Week
Last week, crews made solid progress on the duct bank installation, completing 155 linear feet, placing over 4,600 feet of PVC conduit, and pouring 184 cubic yards of concrete, amounting to nearly 373 tons.
