This Week
Work will continue in the current road closure area as crews focus on completing the concrete bands outlining the roadway. If the weather cooperates, we expect to see the roadway start to take shape with the addition of a base layer of asphalt. Once this phase is complete, crews will finish a few remaining items before shifting construction to the next section of Howard Street.

Last Week
We’re beginning to see the first glimpses of the finished design, and the progress is exciting! The recent concrete work and surface grading are giving a clearer picture of how the completed project will look once the revitalization is finished.

Parking Reminder
We’ve officially entered a phase with significant traffic and parking changes in this area. Once work in the current section wraps up, the opposite side of the roadway-from Wildwood Community Market to Burrell Street-will be closed to all vehicular traffic. This will also temporarily limit through-traffic in the alleyway. The alley will remain accessible for local use, but vehicles will not be able to pass completely through during this phase of work.
