Crews will resume work on stormwater upgrades in the area around the Estes House (App State’s facilities maintenance house) and the alleyway between that house and the Fairfield Apartments. Once that section of stormwater replacement is complete, crews will continue installing the stormwater line as they move toward Depot Street.
Weather permitting, the team will also be working to clean up the Appalachian Street intersection and place a base layer of asphalt so we can move closer to reopening that area. As always, any asphalt work is dependent on a suitable weather window, but crews are prepared to move forward as soon as conditions allow.
Last Week
Over the past several days, crews wrapped up the remaining sewer line upgrades, poured the sidewalk within the Appalachian Street intersection, and continued prep work in advance of the upcoming stormwater installation.
