Progress Last Week
Duct bank work continued.
Crews will resume work Monday in the area around Espresso News/ECRS. While the scope of work remains similar, this section of Howard Street presents additional complexity, including conduit extending into adjacent parking areas, similar to what was observed this week in the Espresso News/Footsloggers lot.
As you’ve likely noticed, this phase progresses more deliberately than earlier utility work, but each step forward moves us closer to reducing the number of utility poles along Howard Street.
With a busy weekend behind us, we’re hopeful it provided a strong boost for downtown businesses.
