Crews will continue duct bank installation along Howard Street, picking up near Willy B’s food truck and progressing toward Appalachian Street. This section includes some alleyway work, which may take a bit more time, but work will continue moving steadily in that direction.

Duct bank work advanced from the Town Hall area toward the vicinity of Willy B’s food truck, with crews continuing steady progress along the corridor.
Project Snapshot
Crews installed 18,828 linear feet of conduit this month alone (including 2″, 3″, 4″, and 6″). To put that into perspective:
- Just over 3.5 miles of conduit
- More than the length of a 5K
- Roughly 52 football fields end to end
All of this work is taking place within just over a quarter mile of roadway along Howard Street.
In total, 43,549 linear feet of conduit have been installed so far—more than 8 miles in the ground as part of this project.
