Work will pick up roughly where it left off on Friday afternoon. Crews will begin installing new stormwater infrastructure on the south side of Howard Street, starting at the corner of Howard and South Depot and extending toward Little Wing Ice Cream.
Pedestrian traffic will be rerouted to the Footsloggers/Magic Cycles side of the intersection.
Additionally, the new sewer line installed earlier this week in front of Fizz Ed will undergo further testing. Depending on the results, there may be additional work in that area, but we’ll know more by Monday morning.
Last Week’s Progress:
- New sewer lines were installed
- Two new sanitary sewer manholes were set
- A large vault for the overhead utility duct bank was placed
We’re expecting the construction signage to come in early next week and will work to get those up to help improve visibility and navigation for visitors.
