Work Underway This Week
- Duct Bank Work: Crews have resumed duct bank installation and are working their way into Burrell Street today and tomorrow. During this time, Burrell Street will be closed to through traffic.
- Culvert Work: Concrete for the headwall is still scheduled for this week, though delays have been common. We remain hopeful that this work will take place in the coming days.
Progress Update
Crews made significant progress on duct bank installation last week. If all continues to go smoothly, the work between Depot Street and Burrell Street should wrap up soon.
Parking Reminder
As duct bank installation and remaining underground work near completion, the project will shift into the hardscape phase, including sidewalks and other above-ground improvements. These enhancements require extra care to protect finished surfaces, so parking along Howard Street will become increasingly limited.
