This Week

Crews will be operating on a shortened schedule this week, with only two workdays due to the Thanksgiving holiday. On Monday, crews will continue progressing on the sewer line installation near ECRS and work their way toward Howard Station.

Weather permitting, the current plan is to pour concrete on Tuesday morning within the intersection of Appalachian Street and Howard Street. This work will require a full closure of the intersection while the concrete is formed and placed.

Last Week

Crews installed 140 feet of new sewer line and set a new manhole—significant progress toward the utility upgrades in this area.

Parking Update

No Parking signs have been installed along Howard Street between Depot Street and Burrell Street. Parking enforcement staff have been actively notifying drivers as they adjust to the new restrictions.

A reminder that there is a designated loading zone at the end of Howard Street near Burrell, located behind the 1850 Hotel on the right side of the road, for use during construction.
