All the World’s a Stage: Douglas Moore’s Gallantry and W.A. Mozart’s The Impresario
What happens when a down on his luck opera producer has to rent out his theatre to an over the top theatre group putting on a live soap opera (complete with commercials) to stay afloat, all the while trying to shut down an ambitious young opera director and three delusional singers? Join us as we present Moore’s Gallantry – a love letter to soap operas and Mozart’s The Impresario a tongue in cheek backstage romp, as one evening of operatic enjoyment. These two one act operas will be sung in English and feature a short intermission between works.
