Wander through the entire Turchin Center, starting with an ARTtalk at 4 pm in the Hodges Gallery, where John Shorb will guide guests through Sculpting with Paper: Hand Papermaking at Dieu Donné. At 5pm, head to the Lecture Hall on the 1st floor for the kickoff of the 23rd Annual Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition, featuring an ARTtalk panel and the announcement of this year’s winners. The celebration continues upstairs with a reception and live music as you explore the galleries and enjoy complimentary snacks (cash bar available).
