Mountaineer Laughs! – A Night in support of App State Athletics presented by The Comedy Zone with supporting partners SkyLine/SkyBest and Boone Bigfoots Baseball.

Featuring Stand-up Comic Dale Jones. With over 25 years in the making – Dale accentuates his machine gun style delivery with a healthy dose of animated faces and then combines that with quick improvisations and well placed physical comedy. Basically he leaves the audience wishing they had his energy. His shows are always a night you won’t soon forget.

In addition to his training at the world renowned Second City, Dale has had numerous television appearances including TBS – The Very Funny Show, NBC – Last Comic Standing Season Six, Fox – 30 seconds to Fame and The Comedy Network in Canada. If you don’t blink you might see him in the 2003 MGM movie “Out Of Time” with Denzel Washington.

Dale is a regular on Sirius XM’s “The Jeff and Larry Channel” and has performed at countless clubs, colleges, corporate functions, cruise ships and comedy festivals. To date he is the winner of the Comedy 10K, Laughlin Comedy Festival & San Diego Comedy Festival.

In 2017 he was invited to perform on two episodes of “The Comedy All Stars” for Pureflix which led to an acting role on the tv series “Malibu Dan the Family Man”.

Tyrone Burston is a stand-up comedian known for his cool, unapologetic style and effortless charisma. Originally from Hartford, CT, he has built a reputation in Charlotte, NC, and beyond, delivering a brand of humor that resonates with audiences of all backgrounds. His comedy blends sharp storytelling with self-deprecating wit, covering everything from growing up in tough times to marriage, fatherhood, and adjusting to life in the South.

Tyrone has performed on Showtime at the Apollo and shared the stage with comedy legends like Arsenio Hall, Bruce Bruce, Michael Blackson, Roy Wood Jr., and Damon Wayans Jr. He has also toured with Adele Givens, one of the Original Queens of Comedy, further cementing his status as a rising force in stand-up.
