This Week
Construction activity will continue this week in the area between the Appalachian Theatre and Appalachian Street. Crews plan to pour the sidewalk along the App State side of the roadway, continue installing brick pavers through the center hardscape area, and prepare the roadway and bike lane for their eventual base layer of asphalt.
Last Week
Last week brought some exciting, visible progress as brick paver installation continued throughout the project area. While much of the project has involved the less glamorous underground infrastructure, seeing the pavers go into place is really starting to bring the vision for Howard Street to life and making it much easier to picture the finished streetscape!
