Work is underway this morning on the final stretch of milling and paving associated with the Howard Street project. Crews are currently milling Burrell Street, with plans to pave that area Tuesday, weather permitting.
There will be some traffic interruptions along Burrell Street while this work is underway. Town of Boone Street Department staff are on site and will help folks navigate the area as crews move through.
Elsewhere along the project, crews will continue working on the power centers this week and, if all goes well, begin installing some of the remaining streetlight poles.
The final lift of asphalt is nearly complete, and the hardscape continues to come together throughout the project area.
