The Intersection is OPEN!
We’re excited to share that the intersection of Howard and Depot is now officially open to vehicle traffic! After a busy few weeks of underground utility work and temporary paving, this milestone marks a big step forward in improving downtown access and keeping the project on track. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we reached this important moment!
Looking Ahead to This Week
Weather permitting, crews will begin work this morning near the Hope Center, continuing with stormwater pipe replacement along Howard Street towards Burrell.
Last Week’s Accomplishments
The sewer line from Depot Street to Burrell Street was successfully installed.
Stormwater Infrastructure began in front of Little Wing Ice Cream.
