This Week
Crews will return to Howard Street on Tuesday following the Memorial Day holiday. There are two primary items on the checklist for the week, though the order in which they are completed will depend somewhat on weather conditions.
- Installation of the final section of duct bank along South Depot Street in front of The Greenhouse and the former Haircut 101 location. Please anticipate intermittent road closures and traffic impacts in that area while this work is taking place.
- Continuing the process of cleaning out the newly installed conduits in preparation for utility companies to begin transitioning lines into the new duct bank system.
Last Week
Last week largely focused on a variety of tidy-up work related to the recently installed utility boxes, along with beginning the process of cleaning out the conduits. While the rain did slow progress slightly at times, I’m certainly not complaining, we desperately needed it.
